Start your adventure in Tucson, Arizona with a special welcome dinner and meet your fellow travelers. You will leave Tuscon and head to San Carlos, Mexico and visit a working pearl farm and then on to the colonial city of El Fuerte and in the evening enjoy a folkloric show before dinner. The next day you start your Copper Canyon adventure as you travel on the Chihuahua-Pa cifico Railroad for an awe-inspiring journey that will take you from sea level to almost 8,000 feet via numerous tunnels and over countless bridges in this unspoiled landscape. Soak in the most scenic portions of the 25,000 square miles of canyon as you wind past thrilling gorges and expansive canyon lands. You will enjoy the stunning views upon arrival at your hotel, which rests on the rim of the canyon. You will experience the fascinating culture of the Tarahumara tribal indians.
