Tally Ho Vacations is a growing group tour operator in Citrus County that plans travel tours for the senior leisure market. Tally Ho Vacations key clients represent thousands of Florida seniors.  The southern states comprise about 80% of our multi-day destinations.   Ed Lattin, Jr., owner of Educational Tours purchased Tally Ho Vacations in June, 2000.  Tally Ho Vacations operates over 100 tours annually.  Tally Ho Vacations is licensed as a seller of travel in Florida, Reg. # 10131, and is a member of NTA, CLIA and IATA.

Ed Lattin, Jr. originally founded Educational Tours in 1984, and has been planning and operating Student travel for over 20 years.  Mr. Lattin was a History teacher at Citrus High School, and started planning his own tours.  That blossomed into helping other instructors plan tours during his own time.  The demand grew so large, that Ed decided he would like to do this full time.  Then in June 2000, Ed purchased Tally Ho Vacations and added adult tours and travel to his business offerings.  Ed ’s companies employ over a dozen people that send out hundreds of student and adult tours each year.

 Debbie Muir was recently  appointed  Manager of Tally Ho Vacations.  In addition , she also organizes group motorcoach tours as well as  domestic and  international tours and cruises for Tally Ho Vacations.  Debbie is back in the travel industry after spending 9 years in the banking and finance industry.  She has worked for Lake Cable Travel in Ohio as an Assistant Vice President and opened the Citrus Travel Agency as Manager in 1998.  Debbie is a Master Cruise Counselor through CLIA (Cruise Lines International Assoc.) and has experience with travel writing for Outbound Traveler Magazine and our local Green Belt under "Debbie's Travel Corner".  Debbie has traveled  extensively throughout Europe, the Caribbean and Africa.

 Tally Ho welcomes Lenora (Lee) Traficanti to our team.  She comes to Tally Ho with more than 23 years of professinal travel experience.  She has been awarded a top performer with AAA Travel and is an experienced cruise and tour specialist.  Lee will be directly handling individual and group  cruises and tour along with motor coach trips.

 Bea Hunn, Administrative Assistant, has many years of travel experience.  She and her late husband Max were travel writers and photographers. Their work appeared in more than 200 magazines and brochures including Cruise Travel Magazine, Recommend, Air Line In-Flight  Magazines, etc.  They specialized in the Caribbean and Latin America.  Bea has been on 65 cruises and traveled extensively in Europe and Africa.  Bea was employed by General Electric Co. in Schenectady, NY for 22 years as a Customer Service Rep. for Fortune 500 Companies before moving to Florida.  She also was in the banking profession for a few years.

 Cason Doyle   She  graduated from high school this spring.  She will be working with us part-time and plans on going to college in the near future to study the hospitality business.  Cason wil be the first person you meet when you come into our office.  She will take your reservations for day and multi-day trips by phone or in person and she will also take your payments.  She will gladly help you get answers to any questions and information you need.
